Thank you to everyone who participated in Cranksrising 2017.  We had so much fun and hope you did too.  Let's do it again next year!

Cranksrising is a Scavenger Hunt to benefit the Safe Harbor Shelter and to bring awareness of One Billion Rising!

The concept is simple:
  • Each team gets a manifest with lists of local store stops in the city of Richmond and needed items for Safe Harbor shelter,
  • Teams head out on bikes to see how many items they can scavenge and carry back to the finish line.
The fastest riders to navigate the streets and checkout lines win prizes, although it is not all about speed. One of the options on the shopping list will be a perishable item which will take skill to deliver. The items on the Safe Harbor wish list will be donated to the shelter for survivors of sexual and domestic violence in time for Valentine's Day!
